Patriot’s Run Is Officially Open at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk!

Patriot’s Run, our brand new family roller coaster celebrating America’s 250th anniversary, is officially OPEN at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ.
Standing nearly 40 feet tall and featuring over 1,100 feet of track, Patriot’s Run is one of the most exciting additions in Jenkinson’s Amusement Park history. Reaching speeds of approximately 25 mph, the family coaster delivers the perfect combination of excitement and family fun for riders of all ages. Oh - and did we mention unbelievable views at the top of the beach and the ocean!
Manufactured by SBF VISA, located just outside of Venice, Italy, Patriot’s Run represents the largest ride investment in Jenkinson’s Boardwalk history. The attraction features three trains made up of two cars each, with room for up to eight riders per car.
The coaster's bold red, white, and blue color scheme celebrates America's upcoming 250th Birthday. The trains, track, and station scenery were all painted at the factory in Italy before making their journey to Point Pleasant Beach. Guests will notice custom-designed station panels featuring iconic American imagery from coast to coast, helping bring the patriotic theme to life.
Patriot’s Run also pays tribute to the beloved Flitzer roller coaster, which once occupied the same location. The new coaster carries forward the Flitzer's classic spirit and flame-inspired design, reimagined with an American flag theme that honors America's 250th celebration while preserving a connection to Jenkinson’s rich amusement park history.
The opening of Patriot’s Run marks an exciting new chapter for Jenkinson’s Amusement Park. While designed to appeal to guests looking for a more adventurous ride experience, the coaster remains family-friendly and accessible, creating new opportunities for generations of families to make memories together at the Jersey Shore.
The celebration is just getting started. On Thursday, July 16, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk will host Red, White, and Ride!, a special event celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The event will feature the official ribbon cutting ceremony for Patriot’s Run, along with entertainment, promotions, special offers, and Jenkinson’s popular Thursday Night Fireworks display on the beach.
There will be plenty of opportunities to experience Patriot’s Run all summer long. Guests can take advantage of popular Amusement Park promotions including Family Mondays, where parents and grandparents ride free with a paid child admission; Unlimited Ride Wristband Days on Tuesdays and Fridays; Half Price Ride Nights on Wednesdays; and 3-Hour Unlimited Ride Wristbands available daily.
