Maelstrom: A Legendary New Indoor Attraction Coming to Jenkinson's Boardwalk in 2027

Jenkinson's Boardwalk is excited to announce the addition of Maelstrom, a brand-new indoor attraction scheduled to open in 2027.

As the first indoor scrambler ride in Jenkinson's Boardwalk history and the first attraction of its kind in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, Maelstrom will combine thrilling ride action with immersive storytelling, detailed theming, and special effects to create a one-of-a-kind guest experience.

The attraction will be located within the South Beach Arcade. A portion of the arcade will remain open and operational, allowing guests to continue enjoying many of their favorite games while experiencing this exciting new addition.

The addition of Maelstrom continues Jenkinson's ongoing commitment to investing in new attractions and experiences for guests of all ages, while still remaining true to their family-first attraction values. Following the successful introduction of Patriot's Run in 2026, Maelstrom will further expand the Boardwalk's lineup of rides and attractions while providing a weather-friendly indoor experience that can be enjoyed throughout the season.
