Photography and Video Policy

For purposes of this policy, “Jenkinson’s Boardwalk” refers collectively to Jenkinson’s South, Inc., Jenkinson’s Pavilion, and their respective affiliated companies, properties, attractions, and facilities.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk welcomes guests to capture photos and videos of their visits for personal use and enjoyment. To protect the safety and privacy of our guests and employees, the following policies apply throughout all Jenkinson’s Boardwalk properties, attractions, and facilities and are strictly enforced.

Requesting Permission

Anyone interested in conducting professional or commercial photography or filming at a Jenkinson’s Boardwalk property must receive prior written approval from the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department.

All approved filming requires a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI). The COI must be submitted electronically or physically to and approved by a representative of the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department at least 48 hours before the scheduled filming date and time. No exceptions will be made.

Failure to provide an approved COI within the required timeframe will result in the filming being canceled or rescheduled. Anyone who arrives without prior written approval or the required insurance documentation will not be permitted to film and will be asked to leave the property. No refunds will be issued for admission, parking, reservations, or any other expenses incurred.

Compensation

The Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department has extensive experience working with film, television, production, photography, and camera crews of all sizes.

Before any filming or photography date is confirmed, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and the requesting party must agree in writing to all compensation, location fees, and other applicable costs associated with the production. No filming or photography dates will be scheduled or confirmed until the compensation agreement has been approved by both parties.

Media Interviews

Only authorized representatives of the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department are permitted to speak on behalf of Jenkinson’s Boardwalk or participate in media interviews.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk employees may not provide interviews, statements, comments, or other information to members of the media without prior approval and coordination from an authorized representative of the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Properties

This Photography and Video Policy is strictly enforced at all Jenkinson’s Boardwalk properties, including, but not limited to, Jenkinson’s Amusement Park, Jenkinson’s Aquarium, Jenkinson’s Beaches, Boardwalk Midway Games, Jenkinson’s concessions and food stands along the boardwalk (excluding Kohr’s Frozen Custard and Martell’s), Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, Jenkinson’s South Arcade, Jenkinson’s Pavilion Arcade, Jenkinson’s South Beach Arcade, Frank’s Fun Center, Jenkinson’s Fun House, Castaway Cove Mini Golf, Lighthouse Point Mini Golf, Jenkinson’s Pavilion, Jenks Club, and Boardwalk Bar & Grill.

Commercial Photography and Video on Non-Jenkinson’s Properties

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk does not control or issue permits for commercial photography or filming conducted on property that is not owned or operated by Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, including the physical boardwalk itself.

Anyone interested in conducting commercial photography or filming on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk or other property controlled by the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach must complete a Borough of Point Pleasant Beach Film Permit Application and submit it to:

It is the responsibility of the individual or organization conducting the photography or filming to obtain all required municipal permits and approvals before arriving.

Failure to provide proof of approval will result in the filming being canceled or rescheduled. Anyone who arrives without the required approval or insurance documentation will not be permitted to film and will be asked to leave the property. No refunds will be issued for admission, parking, reservations, or any other expenses incurred.

Important: Approval to film on property that is not owned or operated by Jenkinson’s Boardwalk does not grant permission to film at any Jenkinson’s Boardwalk property. Separate written approval from the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Marketing Department is required.

Guest Photography and Video

Guests may take photos and record videos for personal, noncommercial use, provided that doing so does not:

  • Interfere with Jenkinson’s Boardwalk operations
  • Compromise the safety of guests or employees
  • Disrupt the experience of other guests
  • Violate another guest’s privacy
  • Violate any other provision of this policy

Commercial photography, professional filming, promotional content production, and organized photo or video shoots are not permitted without prior written approval from an authorized representative of Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.

Photography and Recording on Rides

For the safety of all guests and employees, cameras, cell phones, and recording devices of any kind may not be used while riding any amusement ride or attraction.

Loose or handheld devices are strictly prohibited on all rides. No exceptions.

Prohibited Equipment and Activities

The following are not permitted without prior written authorization from Jenkinson’s Boardwalk:

  • Drones or other unmanned aircraft
  • Cameras or recording devices mounted to vehicles, carts, scooters, bicycles, or other moving objects
  • Equipment that obstructs walkways, entrances, exits, or guest areas
  • Professional lighting, tripods, large camera rigs, or similar production equipment
  • Photography or recording conducted for commercial, advertising, marketing, promotional, publishing, or broadcasting purposes

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk reserves the right to prohibit any photography or recording that creates a safety concern, interferes with operations, disrupts other guests, or otherwise violates this policy.

Commercial Use

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk rides, attractions, shows, entertainment, logos, trademarks, signage, characters, and other branded elements may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.

Photographs, videos, or recordings featuring Jenkinson’s Boardwalk may not be used for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing, publishing, promotion, or any other commercial purpose in any medium without prior written permission from an authorized representative of Jenkinson’s Boardwalk.

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk Photography and Recording

By entering or working at a Jenkinson’s Boardwalk property, guests and employees acknowledge that photography, filming, and audio or video recording may occur.

Guests and employees grant Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and its authorized representatives the right to photograph, film, record, and use their image, voice, or likeness for promotional, advertising, archival, or other lawful purposes without payment or additional consideration.

Policy Enforcement

Jenkinson’s Boardwalk reserves the right to interpret, modify, and enforce this policy at its discretion.
