Labor Day Fireworks
Monday, September 7 at Dark
Celebrate Labor Day Weekend with a special free fireworks show on the beach at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk!
Join us as we light up the sky over Point Pleasant Beach and wrap up the holiday weekend with family fun, summer memories and one final Labor Day celebration at the Jersey Shore. Fireworks are wind and weather permitting and subject to change.

First Responders Day
Friday, September 11 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is proud to celebrate the first responders who serve our communities. First responders and their immediate family members can enjoy free unlimited rides in the Jenkinson’s Amusement Park, including the Adventure Lookout Ropes Course, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm with a valid professional ID.
Additional offers include:
- Half price admission to Jenkinson’s Aquarium from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
- Half price Mini Golf
- Half price admission to Jenkinson’s Fun House
- A free commemorative Jenkinson’s Kids Fire Helmet for children at check-in

Locals Appreciation Weekend
Saturday, September 12 from 12:00pm to 9:00pm
Sunday, September 13 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm
Calling all Jersey Shore locals! Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is celebrating our neighbors throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties with a special Locals Appreciation Weekend.
Monmouth and Ocean County residents can purchase a 3-Hour Unlimited Rides Wristband for just $20. Wristbands will be available at any in-person ticket booth inside the Jenkinson’s Amusement Park.
A valid photo ID or proof of Monmouth or Ocean County residency is required.
Seafood Fest Fireworks
Saturday, September 19 at Dark
The 48th Annual Festival of the Sea returns to downtown Point Pleasant Beach on Saturday, September 19. Enjoy a full day featuring 250 craft vendors, live music, a beer and wine garden and food from local restaurants from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
After the festival, head over to Jenkinson’s Boardwalk and the beach for a free fireworks show at dark. It is the perfect way to finish one of Point Pleasant Beach’s biggest annual events!

Fall Special: Half Price Rides
Enjoy more fall fun for fewer credits during select operating dates at the Jenkinson’s Amusement Park! Visit the Ride Park hours HERE for the latest schedule.
All available rides will be half the normal credit amount from open to close on the following dates:
- September 19-21
- September 26-October 4
- October 10-12
- October 17-18
- October 24-25
A limited number of rides will be available due to seasonal maintenance and staffing. Ride availability is subject to change.
African Penguin Awareness Day
Saturday, October 3 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Waddle over to Jenkinson’s Aquarium for African Penguin Awareness Day!
Drop in to learn more about these incredible flightless birds through educational crafts and family-friendly activities. Guests can also watch the aquarium’s African penguins during a scheduled feeding.
African Penguin Awareness Day activities are included with general aquarium admission.
Boo at the Boardwalk
October 17, 18, 24 and 25 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
Get ready for two weekends of family-friendly Halloween fun at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk! Boo at the Boardwalk returns with free activities and entertainment for children of all ages.
Scheduled activities include:
- Trick-or-treating
- Character appearances
- Yosi’s Spooky Silly Halloween
- Magic shows
- Monster Slime Lab
- Underwater Pumpkin Carving
- Live DJ entertainment
- Special packages
- Limited amusement rides
- And much more!
All available amusement rides will be half the normal credit amount during Boo at the Boardwalk operating hours. Additional information about event packages, promotions and the complete daily entertainment lineup will be announced soon.
