Is Jenkinson's open in the winter?

The Jenkinson's Aquarium , Jenkinson's South Arcade , Jenkinson's Pavilion Arcade , and the Sweet Shop are open daily year-round.

Can I bring my dog on the boardwalk?

As per the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach : No dogs are permitted on the boardwalk. You may bring your dog onto the beach any time from September 15th through May 15th. From May 15th to September 15th, you may only bring your dog onto the beach after sunrise until 7:30am.

Can I ride my bike on the boardwalk?

As per the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach : No bicycles shall be ridden on the boardwalk except between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. daily. Except that bicycles shall be permitted on the boardwalk within the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach on Saturdays and Sundays, excluding State holidays, falling between October 1st until April 30th between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. daily, and on Mondays through Fridays, excluding State holidays, falling between October 1st and April 30th from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Do parents need credits or wristbands to ride with their children?

All adults that are required to accompany a rider due to height and safety standards are required to have either the proper number of credits or a wristband for themselves. An adult is considered anyone 18 years of age or older.

Why are the Boardwalk Bounce Credits a different amount than the old Emusement Credits?

Important Credit Information: We've updated our credit structure from 1 Credit = $.50 to 1 Credit = $1.00, but rest assured—all of your old cards and Easter Sale items still hold the same dollar value, just with simplified credit amounts to match our new structure and user-friendly cashless system. For example, the Carousel Ride last year was 8 Credits ($4 in value), and this year it is 4 Credits ($4 in value). Any cards purchased before 2025 can be transferred onto a new card at the Amusement Park during operating hours. The most important thing to note is that your old cards have the exact same dollar value as they always have, we've just updated our credit structure. You are not losing any value on these items and we did not just double the price and lower the credits!

Is there a fee to get on the beach?

Yes, there is a fee for anyone 5 years of age and older. Visit our Beach Prices page for details.

Can you bring a cooler on the beach?

Yes, you are permitted to bring a cooler on to Jenkinson’s Beach. However, the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach has an ordinance that states coolers cannot be larger than 18 inches in length, 12.5 inches in width, and 15.5 inches in height and/or have a capacity greater than 28 quarts. All coolers are subjected to search. Also, you are NOT permitted to bring alcohol, glass, or large tents on the beach.

Is there a cost for the special events?

All weekly shows and special events are free!

Do you cancel your events if it rains?

All attractions and events are subject to weather and may be canceled at any time.

What time do fireworks start?

They start at dark. That is usually 9:15pm in the early part of the summer and around 8:30pm in late summer.

Jenkinson’s operates five paid parking lots; all are located on Ocean Ave between Broadway and Arnold Ave. There is also a metered lot at the corner of Arnold and Ocean Aves, as well as free street parking. Please come early because spaces are limited. Directions & Parking

How can my organization submit a request for a charitable contribution?

All requests must be submitted in writing to Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, 300 Ocean Ave, Pt. Pleasant Beach NJ 08742, Attention: Community Relations. Please be advised that due to the overwhelming number of requests, all calls cannot be returned.
