Learn how to provide animal care including training, enrichment, and feeding for a variety of animals. You’ll go behind the scenes, meet live animals, and talk with our care staff.

Visitors are invited to wear birthday hats and join us in singing Happy Birthday to her as she enjoys a special birthday cake. Sign her birthday card, make a craft, and learn all about harbor seals through games and activities!
Families affected by autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing or cognitive challenges, as well as guests requiring assistance for disabilities are invited to explore the aquarium before we open to the public. To create a sensory friendly environment there will be a decreased noise level, limited visual stimulation and less crowding.

This day was created to coincide with the annual northern migration of penguins in Antarctica. Join us for this celebratory day that encourages people to learn more about the world’s penguins and the threats they face. There will be crafts, activities and penguin keeper chats.
Come learn about an unusual sea creature known as the horseshoe crab. The Delaware Bay shorelines are the site of the largest horseshoe crab spawning in the world. Each year, horseshoe crabs come ashore by the thousands to spawn on the sandy beaches during the full and new moons in May and June. Make a craft, meet live horseshoe crabs and learn what makes them so special.
