At least 11 species of migratory birds rely on horseshoe crab eggs as their primary food supply during migration. The eggs replenish their fat supply during their trip from South American wintering areas to Arctic breeding grounds. Come learn about the unusual sea creature known as the horseshoe crab and the migratory birds that depend on them. Make a craft, meet live horseshoe crabs, and find out what makes them so special.
