May 21, 2020 UPDATE:

May 15, 2020 UPDATE:
With the announcement of the opening of the beach operated by the Borough of Point Pleasant Beach, there has been some confusion as to whether or not Jenkinsonβs Beach will be open. Unfortunately we are unable to open our beach until the town opens the boardwalk to the public. Our staff has been working behind the scenes to get ready for summer and we are ready to greet you as soon as possible. We will make announcements on our beach opening and badge sales soon. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you soon!
March 27, 2020 UPDATE:
We will remain closed until further notice.Β Once Governor Murphy lifts restrictions and we feel it is safe for our customers and staff, we will make an announcement with regards to a re-opening date.Β Until we see you again, be safe and healthy. Stay strong; we are in this together!

Dear Valued Guest,
Jenkinsonβs Boardwalk has always considered our customers, guests and staff the heart of our operations.Β Because of this, we have decided to put everyoneβs health and well-being first.Β Out of an abundance of caution, we have chosen to close our doors to the general public through the end of the month.Β We felt it was important to heed the warnings and take guidance from the CDC, as well as the Federal Government, and seek to stay ahead of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.Β The window to contain the spread is narrow and it is our hope that our actions will help to flatten the curve.
As we mentioned in our previous statement, Jenkinsonβs will remain in close contact with local governmental agencies, will continue monitoring events daily, and will take proper precautions as this situation continues to evolve.
During this time, we are asking our staff to practice responsible social distancing.Β Essential personnel will be monitored and anyone who is sick will be required to stay home.
While we cannot be together in person, rest assured our Aquarium staff will be taking care of our animals on a daily basis and will post updates via social media as they continue to provide care for them.
Thank you for your long-term support of Jenkinsonβs and we hope to see you soon.
