Pre-registration is required for all workshops. Call (732) 899-1659. Workshop price includes all day Aquarium admission on the day of the workshop. Workshops for children ages 5 & up unless otherwise noted. Workshops are subject to cancellation.

February
Toddler Make & Take
Tuesday 2/9/10 9:30am – 10:30am
$18 parent-child pair/ $8 for each additional participant
Make marine life crafts, listen to a story, and learn about some of our animals. This program is for children ages 3-5 years old with an accompanying adult. Includes all day aquarium admission. Call to pre-register: 732-899-1659.
Love…Aquarium Style
Saturday 2/13/10 6:00pm – 8:00pm
All Ages $6 per person (Daytime admission is not included.)
Bring your loved ones to the aquarium for the evening and make a Valentine for your favorite animal.
Behind the Scenes Tour
Saturday 2/20/10 9:30am -11:00am
Ages 5 and up only $14 for adults & $10 for children
Discover what goes on behind the scenes of the aquarium while you tour the building from top to bottom. Learn what it takes to feed, clean, and enrich all of our animals. Sneakers are required. Call to pre-register: 732-899-1659.
It’s Easy Being Green!
Saturday 2/27/10 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Ages 5 and up $12 for adults & $9 for children
Learn the effects of climate change while discovering what you can do every day to protect our planet.
Junior Biologists
Sunday 2/28/10 9:00am -12:00pm
Ages 11-15 $40 per person
See (and smell) the aquarium from an employee’s point of view by making animal enrichment, preparing food, and feeding some of our resident animals.

All Ages Free with General Admission
Bring in your favorite book and receive half price children’s admission, then share your story during our stoytimes at 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00 pm.

International Day of the Seal

Commemorate our three harbor seals – Luseal, Coral, and Seaquin – with this international day of recognition and honor. Uncover interesting facts about these mammals, their relatives, and our local species of seals.
